In 1978, I began my journey to provide integrated healing modalities in a warm, friendly, professional environment. In my practice, I provide customized solutions to common physical issues like stiffness, muscle aches, stress, chronic pain and dietary challenges. These professional services include addressing at the root of the cause. This is done via soft tissue manipulation for proper alignment and better mobility, done to alleviate pain and stress.
I graduated from the Chicago College of Naprapathy in 1978 and began my practice on north side with a wholistic approach to being WELL. The word Naprapathy came from a Czechoslavakian term meaning, “to correct suffering.” It is a soft tissue approach to alleviating imbalances in the body. This is a natural, drugless, and effective treatment for overused, pulled, and strained muscles.
In 1980, I completed my 2+ years education in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture at the Midwest school of Traditional Chinese Medicine (now The Midwest College of Oriental Medicine based in Wisconsin). In the practice of Chinese Medicine, we look at herbal remedies as well as creating customized dietary solutions to increased wellness.
In 1990 I graduated from the National college of Chiropractic in Lombard, Il to become a licensed doctor of Chiropractic. I use my background in Chiropractic medicine to provide better assessment, and clinical evaluations for clients.
Most of my clients prefer a soft tissue approach. Soft tissue and use of the “activator” with body work is used to relieve aches and pains of a tired body. As I have also found that nutrition and d-tox have been a part of each step, I believe “food is your best medicine” and I do know how to offer you those answers to eating well.
